Charles Saba

Charles is the founder of US-PIT, and is a former Deputy Sheriff from Virginia. He is a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, French, Spanish. Charles serves as advisor to top government officials throughout the various states of Brazil on law enforcement training issues, and is a guest speaker at various international events in the world of law enforcement.

Joe Robinson
Joe has been an advisor and Instructor for the US-PIT since it's inception. In addition to his duties as a Special Assistant to the Mayor of Orlando Joe travels extensively teaching Recently retired as Captain with the Orlando Police Department, Joe teaches internationally as a tactical advisor and motivational speaker. Joe is a certified Use of Force Instructor Trainer through the Armiger Police Training Institute and maintains numerous law enforcement Instructor Certifications and affiliations with various national training organizations.

Ken Murray

Ken has been an advisor and Instructor for the US-PIT since it's inception. Ken lectures internationally on the topic of Officer Safety and Survival as well as the Psychological Aspects of Lethal Force Encounters. He was one of the founders of SIMUNITION® and the author of it's National Instructor Training Program. Ken has recently published his latest book 'Training at the Speed of Life' to critical acclaim. . He holds Instructor Certifications in Firearms, Rappelling, Chemical Munitions, Less Lethal Devices, Riot Control Munitions, and Flash/Sound Diversionary devices. Ken is the Director of Training for the Armiger Police Training Institute in Orlando, Florida.

Richard Rippy

Rippy has been an advisor and Instructor for the US-PIT since 2003. In addition to his teaching duties with US-PIT, Rippy is a patrol corporal with the Lake County Sheriff's Office in Florida. Rippy teaches many topics including  SWAT school at the Institute of Public Safety, he also holds numerous industry related Instructor and Armorer Certificates and is a member of various law enforcement training organizations.

Ed Jany

Ed has been an advisor and Instructor for the US-PIT since 1999. In addition to his teaching duties with US-PIT, Ed is currently serving as a Marine Corps Lt. Col. assigned to the war on terrorism. Ed is also a Sergeant with Monroe Police Department and  also a SWAT  K-9 instructor and SWAT Team Supervisor. Ed has over 17 years law enforcement experience including service as a patrol and narcotics detection dog handler, narcotics investigator, tactical operations officer, tactical patrol-strategic intelligence, forensic artist, field training officer, physical fitness and defensive tactics instructor and has served on a homicide task force.

Harry J. Humphries
Harry has been an advisor and Instructor for the US-PIT since it's inception, is a highly decorated former SEAL Team member and now teaches in the private sector to police and military groups on the subject of armed encounters through his own training company GSGI. He consults extensively to the motion picture industry as a technical consultant in the field of weapons and tactics. Harry is a certified Use of Force Simulation Instructor  and is a Certified Law Enforcement Instructor through Eastern Michigan University.

John A. Matelski

John has been an advisor and Instructor for the US Department of Defense (NSA, FBI) as well as a number of state and local law enforcement agencies. He is now the Chief Information Officer for Gwinnett County, Georgia - after a ten year stint as Chief Security Officer for the City of Orlando. He consults extensively as an Information Technology (IT) expert. Matelski also consults on Homeland Defense initiatives that have information technology implications and has been a keynote speaker at a number of conferences where he has addressed information technology ramifications and requirements revolving around Homeland Security.


 

               
Carlos Yegros

Carlos Yegros is an outstanding police instructor. Holding the rank of Inspector, Mr. Yegros is assigned to the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police Academy. Among his many specialties include firearms training and dignitary protection. Mr. Yegros is in charge of setting up training classes in Rio de Janeiro. He has recently returned from training at the US-PIT Academy in Orlando Fl. 

 

 

 

      Glayson Dantas

Dantas is a US-PIT Rangemaster and a Captain in the Military Police of the State of Acre in Brazil. Dantas has taught both SWAT and VIP Protection to police departments throughout Brazil. He is deeply involved in community outreach programs, dedicating personal time and resources.

 

Dr. Jader M. Amaral              

Dr. Jader is a 22 year veteran of the Rio de Janeiro Police Force, having held the most diverse assignment. His career has spanned both the military and civil police forces, from special ops to his current rank as a Chief. Held in high regard he is a certified instructor in various fields, from firearms to hostage negotiations. Dr. Jader has been decorated with many honors, and is the recipeint of Rio de Janeiro Police Medal of Honor.

 
 
 

 

 

        

 

 

 

Hernando B. da Silva

Hernando is an accomplished instructor in evasive driving among his many other qualifications. He is a protection specialist having experience in protecting various heads of state, and a master at urban warfare and police tactics. Hernando heads up the evasive and offensive driving courses at US-PIT.
