As Director of the US Police Instructor
Teams,
I would like to welcome you to our website.
Allow
me to provide some background for US-PIT. I established the organization in
the spring of 1996 with the vision of providing quality law enforcement training to
police departments internationally. Since that time I have expanded operations around the world
but more specifically to Brazil. I speak Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic,
French, Spanish and get by in a couple more. These languages have been
invaluable in opening up law enforcement training markets in Latin America,
Europe and the Middle East. We have especially concentrated on Brazil and in
that capacity I have
served as an advisor to top government officials throughout the various states
of Brazil on law enforcement training issues.
I
employ only the finest instructors. These instructors come highly
recommended from their peers and some already teach for other training
organizations. All of the instructors have some type of law enforcement or
military background and most have law enforcement experience. Each
instructor brings his or her own expertise into the classroom and in the field
during "scenario" training. I invite you to look at the US-PIT
Instructor Staff.
Please
browse the site. If you have any information about a course or need a
course designed to fit a particular need, don't hesitate to contact me by phone
or email. US-PIT contact information is on the menu bar to the left.
And,
as always, US-PIT is the total solution for your law enforcement training needs.
Sincerely,
Charles

COMMUNITY POLICING
|
Orlando FL (US-PIT)
Community Oriented Police (C.O.P.) is one facet of a
multi faceted response needed to give the citizens of
Brazil a much needed boost in order to begin turning the
tide in fighting crime, and promoting a better quality
of life. The C.O.P. course is designed with the
municipality in mind, giving the students the
operational aspects of creating community police units.
This is not a class based on theory, but more geared to
the actual operational aspects such as bringing the 'Big
Six' groups together so that the citizens and the police
are empowered to build a better community and deal with quality of
life issues.
Graduates of US-PIT's Community Oriented Police course
will leave the class knowing how to make community
policing a reality in their communities. Now that the
federal government of Brazil is charging the mayors and
their municipality to play an ever increasing role in
public safety, it is up to the mayor, his or her
municipal guards, municipal and city services, social
agencies and others in local government to create the
lines of communication which should, with the aid of the
citizens they serve, build a better
community.
